Loris Azzaro He was born in Tunisia from Sicilian parents and came to Paris to set up his clothing line in 1962. In 1975 he created his first fragrance for women, 'Couture', which became his signature scent. Over time Azzaro became known as well for his fragrances as for his clothing. Azzaro ideas for products came from his french backround as a child the spiced odors, colors, flowers and fragrances. Loris Azzaro died at the age of 70 in Paris France. (November 20, 2003)
