Yves Rocher was a French businessman and founder of the cosmetic company that bears his name. He was a pioneer of the modern use of natural ingredients. He lost his father at 14 years old and his mother was running a small textile business. He decided to take ointment by mail order adverts in the magazine. in 1958 he founded a cosmetic company and turned it over to his son in 1992 and after his death in 1994 turned over to grandson Bris. The company now estimates two billing euros in 2007 and employs 15,000 people.
