Charles Tiffany started business in 1837 traveling from New England to New York and made $4.98 his first day. In 1867 Tiffany was awarded of Merit at the Paris exposition Universelle. Thirty years later insearch of one of a kind objects with his continuous charm and fascination he obtained some of the french crown jewels and his fame spread far and wide. His greatest accomplishment was to establish America's preaminant house of design and the world's premier jewelry and accessories including clocks, frames, pens, perfumes, and colognes.
