Gucci born in 1881, craftsman’s son Guccio Gucci founded the House of Gucci as a saddlery shop in Florence in 1906. Guccio's first talent was his craftsmanship in leather goods. The Gucci perfume history began with Gucci no. 1 in 1974. Many more successful releases came over the years with, Gucci no. 3 (1985), Gucci’s Accenti perfume (1995) Envy (1997), Envy for men (1998), Rush (1999), Rush for men (2000), Gucci Eau de Parfum (2002), Gucci Pour Homme (2003) and Envy Me (2004). Recent Gucci perfume and cologne releases include Envy Me 2 (2006), Gucci Pour Homme 2 (2007), Gucci by Gucci (2007), Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme (2008), Gucci Flora (2009).
